An-Nisaa 4:129
وَلَن تَسْتَطِيعُوٓا۟ أَن تَعْدِلُوا۟ بَيْنَ ٱلنِّسَآءِ وَلَوْ حَرَصْتُمْ ۖ فَلَا تَمِيلُوا۟ كُلَّ ٱلْمَيْلِ فَتَذَرُوهَا كَٱلْمُعَلَّقَةِ ۚ وَإِن تُصْلِحُوا۟ وَتَتَّقُوا۟ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا
You will never be able to maintain absolute justice between your wives, no matter how keen you are. So do not completely incline to one leaving the other in suspense[91]. If you do what is right and fear Allah, Allah is surely All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
[91] Neither divorced nor enjoying the marital rights.An-Nisaa 4:164
وَرُسُلًا قَدْ قَصَصْنَـٰهُمْ عَلَيْكَ مِن قَبْلُ وَرُسُلًا لَّمْ نَقْصُصْهُمْ عَلَيْكَ ۚ وَكَلَّمَ ٱللَّهُ مُوسَىٰ تَكْلِيمًا
There are messengers whose stories We have already mentioned to you and messengers We have not mentioned to you. And Allah spoke to Moses directly[109].
[109] Use of the absolute object (maf‘ūl mutlaq) means that Allah addressed Moses directly in a manner befitting His Majesty, without a medium, in words that he heard and understood.Al-Hijr 15:86
إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ ٱلْخَلَّـٰقُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ
Indeed, your Lord is the Absolute Creator, the All-Knowing.
Taa-Haa 20:70
فَأُلْقِىَ ٱلسَّحَرَةُ سُجَّدًا قَالُوٓا۟ ءَامَنَّا بِرَبِّ هَـٰرُونَ وَمُوسَىٰ
So the magicians fell down in prostration[17], saying, “We believe in the Lord of Aaron and Moses.”
[17] They realized that the miracles of Moses were not impressions of magic, but absolute realities.Saad 38:66
رَبُّ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْغَفَّـٰرُ
Lord of the heavens and earth and all that is between them, the All-Mighty[23], Most Forgiving[24].”
[23] Honored for absolute power, wisdom, and justice. [24] Who repeatedly conceals the sins of His slaves.Qaaf 50:16
وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ وَنَعْلَمُ مَا تُوَسْوِسُ بِهِۦ نَفْسُهُۥ ۖ وَنَحْنُ أَقْرَبُ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ حَبْلِ ٱلْوَرِيدِ
We have created man and know what his soul whispers within him, for We are closer to him than his jugular vein[8].
[8] i.e., We have absolute knowledge of everything about him, or Our angels are closer to him, as mentioned in the next verse.Al-Waaqia 56:95
إِنَّ هَـٰذَا لَهُوَ حَقُّ ٱلْيَقِينِ
This is indeed the absolute truth.
Al-Haaqqa 69:51
وَإِنَّهُۥ لَحَقُّ ٱلْيَقِينِ
And this[12] is indeed the absolute truth.
[12] i.e., this Qur’an.At-Takaathur 102:7
ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيْنَ ٱلْيَقِينِ
Again, you will see it with absolute certainty.
Al-Ikhlaas 112:2
ٱللَّهُ ٱلصَّمَدُ
Allah, the Eternal Refuge[2].
[2] He is absolute, perfect, complete, self-sufficient; the one eternally and constantly required and sought; all existence depend upon Him; all matters ultimately return to Him.
