Arabic hadith textعَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ -صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ-، يَقُولُ:«خير المجالس أوسعها».
English translationAbu Sa‘īd al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) say: "The best sitting places are the widest."
ExplanationExplanation of the hadith
This Hadīth indicates the excellence of the spaciousness of sitting places, for wide areas accommodate many people and ensure comfort and expansion of breasts. However, it depends on the circumstances, for some people might have small chambers. But the wider the better!
