عن أبي هريرة ـ رضي الله عنه ـ قال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: «لم يبقَ من النُّبُوَّةِ إلا المُبَشِّرَاتُ» قالوا: وما المُبَشِّرَاتُ ؟ قال: «الرؤيا الصالحة».
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported in that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "All that is left from Prophethood is the glad tidings." They said: "What are the glad tidings?" He said: "The true good dream."
The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) points out that the true good dream is the glad tidings, which represent all that is left from Prophethood after the divine revelation has stopped. True good dreams are the only part of revelation that will remain to inform about what is going to happen.
